Fancy a dram? Why not join us for this not to be missed whisky tasting event brought to you by Penderyn Distillery? At the tasting, you’ll be treated to five tasters of Penderyn’s Gold range of whisky:
Madeira
This whisky is the original Penderyn ‘house style’, aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Madeira wine casks to bring out its full gold character.
Peated
This whisky has a delicate spirit with a medium peaty character and a light golden tone.
Portwood
This Portwood-finish whisky is a firm favourite among our customers in France and a real attention grabber.
Sherrywood
The Penderyn Sherrywood in this bottle has been aged in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-Oloroso sherry casks to bring out its rich fruity flavour.
Rich Oak
This is the latest addition to Penderyn’s Gold Range. Limited Edition Rich Oak Single Cask and 50% bottlings have won major international awards. It is matured in a range of specially selected ex-bourbon and rejuvenated oak casks.
The tasting will take place at Llangollen Town Hall at 7pm on October 15th. Tickets cost £12.50 and are available to book here.
