Wales Air Ambulance provides a 999 emergency lifesaving service for patients needing urgent medical treatment. The charity also runs the National Children’s Air Ambulance of Wales, providing specialist treatments for some of Wales’ youngest patients.
We operate three helicopters seven days a week, 365 days of the year that can attend medical emergencies across Wales within 20minutes.
From premature babies just a few hours old, to farmers in remote countryside, to families on busy town roads: we are here for everyone, every day.
This is only possible thanks to charitable support: we rely entirely on donations to raise £6 million every year to keep the helicopters flying over Wales.

We have been proud to part of the food festival since 2012 generating several hundred pounds which contributed to keeping our helicopters flying.
